Acceptable Use Policy (AUP): “GooHoost services must be used for lawful purposes only. Prohibited content includes bulk unsolicited email (SPAM), copyrighted material without permission, and any software used for hacking or DDoS attacks.”
Resource Usage: “While we offer unmetered bandwidth on select plans, ‘unmetered’ does not mean ‘infinite.’ Sites that consume excessive CPU or RAM to the point of slowing down other users on shared servers may be asked to upgrade to a VPS.”
Account Cancellation: “Users can cancel their 1, 3, 6, or 12-month plans at any time via the dashboard. No further charges will be applied after the current billing cycle ends.”
Refund & Money-Back Guarantee.
The 30-Day Rule:“We offer a full 30-day money-back guarantee on all Shared and WordPress hosting plans. If you are unsatisfied for any reason within your first 30 days, we will refund your full payment.”
VPS Exceptions: “Due to the resources allocated, VPS Hosting is eligible for a refund only if a technical failure on our part prevents the service from functioning.”
Billing Cycles: “Refunds are processed for the full amount of the initial term. After the first 30 days, no pro-rated refunds are provided for the remainder of the 3, 6, or 12-month terms.”
Privacy Policy.
Data Collection: “We collect only the information necessary to provide hosting services: name, email, and billing address. We do not store full credit card details on our servers; all payments are processed through secure, PCI-compliant gateways.”
Data Privacy: “GooHoost does not sell or share customer data with third-party advertisers. Your data is your property.”
